By 2003 "JP" had also became a DAN Instructor Trainer.
To date "JP" has been teaching as an instructor for 15 years!
His teaching experience is as follows:
- Finland - Helsinki
- Jordania - Aqaba
- Turkey - Fethie / Marmaris
- Gran Canary Islands
- Gran Canary Islands / Puerto Rico
- Thailand - Phuket / PhiPhi
JP's Motto:
If something is worth doing,
it is worth doing right the first time!
"My goal is not just to get you through an Instructor exam, but to have you confident and prepared to take on the world as a PADI professional for when you leave for your chosen scuba location, that's why I focus on teaching in small groups"
Why do your instructor training with me?
Well I keep myself up to date with all new developments from PADI and DAN respectively.
# I use my own experience in Instructor Training
# I have tried things I am talking about
# I follow what other Instructors do, that's how you learn!
# I use discussion as training method.
On the course:
# We discuss and think about solutions to different possible dive situations, this is how you can remember better
# We don't study "What" but rather "Why" and What Happens If..."
I still teach at all levels even to this day, I don't just teach IDCs!
For an example here is a picture of me teaching a junior open water student.
Why do your instructor training with me?
I always make sure that there is always time to
"discuss a situation" or repeat a training exercise and lastly I always make sure that my students fully understand how to find the right information about a question from the PADI instructor manual.
There are many places in the world were you can take your PADI IDC instructor course & I E exam, but before you sign up, think about the training environment that is on offer to you!
Would you rather be in a class of 6 or a class of 14 !
I pride myself on my teaching standards and I also have total confidence in my
PADI IDC Staff instructors who are not there just to help me but to also help you.
2009 can be an adventure for you in the role as a professional PADI scuba instructor.
