places in the world!
Live the island life while training to become a PADI Pro.
Congratulations to our two new PADI Open Water Scuba Instructors:
Malene and Jake

When asked how it went, JP simpley said we all had a great time, yes there were a few nerves but that is only to be expected, once Malene & Jake got in to the exams they knew what they had to do, they both stayed focused and helped each other. They passed with flying colours. JP, Marlean & Jake enjoying a well earned drink of champagne
All the staff at Phi Phi Barakuda would like to say “big well done guys”, looking forward to having you with us, getting your first scuba teaching certifications.
PADI IDC Thailand:
Phi Phi is a unique chain of islands with white sandy beaches, stunning limestone cliffs and clear water locations teaming with the most diverse fish life in the world.
Everything you need is available right here and within walking distance.
Divers come from all corners of the globe to dive this paradise, you will love diving in our 28+°C waters looking for the resident Leopard sharks, Hawksbill turtles, Whale sharks or the elusive yellow box fish.
After the days training:
Take in the sights and sounds of Phi Phi, and enjoy the international food restaurants
There are many places in the world were you can take your IDC instructor course & I E exam, but before you sign up, think about the location of where you're going to dive especially if you're coming to Thailand.
Such as the viz of the water, Phi Phi averages 20+M daily, travel time to the dive sites,
this is important as you could be on the boat for most of the day, in other locations such as Pattaya or Koh Samui and even Phuket, then you have to go back
to the classroom.
The Phi Phi dive sites are 30 mins from the port.
Other things to consider should be the general cost of living and the accommodation
How does £2.70 for a main meal (Thail) and £0.85 a beer (Thai) sound after a days study!
Last but not least is the marine life at the dive sites!
Whale sharks return to our main dive site
Bida Nok every year.
Other locations that you can dive while you are here are the Hin Daeng and Hin Muang dive sites, a group of our divers had the amazing experience of diving with 10 manta rays !!!

Course Introduction:
Phi Phi IDC is a relaxed nine day program, run by PADI course director and DAN instructor trainer

Prior to this we run a two day IDC prep, and a one day Emergency First Responder Instructor course or
EFR-I.
This course is also a part of the requirement to be a PADI open water scuba instructor or OWSI.
The two day prep gives you a heads up on the nine day IDC course and makes sure all paper work is complete and that you have all the correct equipment and course materials
Phi Phi IDC can and does teach in multi languages, the base language is English, however German, French, Spanish, Dutch, Italian, Finnish, Swiss, Swedish, Japanese and Korean are all available as our are parent dive company
