The PADI IDC equipment outline listed, is required prior to starting one of our IDC courses, at prsent we have a FREE hire option if you need to use it! We can also offer a 20% discount on all equipment sale too.
PADI IDC Equipment
During open water scuba training, instructor candidates must equip themselves with:
- Fins
- Mask
- Snorkel
- Cylinder ( supplied by dive center )
- Buoyancy control device with low pressure inflator
- Regulator
- Alternate air source
- Submersible pressure gauge
- Weight system (if necessary)
- Appropriate exposure protection
- Timing device
- Depth gauge
- Compass
- Knife / diver’s tool
- Slate
- Dive table
- Two surface signaling devices
one audible (whistle, air horn, etc.)
one visual (inflatable surface tube, flare, signal mirror, etc.)
